Injectables

KYBELLA® involves a series of injections. Injections are usually spaced about 4-6 weeks apart, a period that gives the body time to process the fat waste. The number of injections needed will vary from individual to individual. Many of our patients see visible improvement after 2-4 treatments. Results can be permanently maintained, particularly if weight fluctuation is avoided.

KYBELLA® can be used on men and women who are 18 years or older.

Do not receive KYBELLA® if you have an infection in the treatment area.

Patients should stop taking aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil supplements for two weeks prior to injection, to decrease your risk of bruising at the injection site. We suggest that our patients take Arnica two days prior to treatment.

After a treatment, patients can immediately resume their normal activities. No downtime is needed. Best of all, KYBELLA® treatments yield long-lasting results. The fat that is dissolved is permanently gone.

Potential side effects for our patients include: Swelling, pain, numbness, redness, and areas of hardness in the treatment area. These are not all of the possible side effects of KYBELLA®.

KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, and once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat. This results in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin, revealing an improved chin profile.
