Dysport® treats moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. It reduces specific muscle activity leaving you with natural results. Men and women choose Dysport® as an alternative to BOTOX® to combat the signs of aging.

Dysport® can be injected into frown lines, between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead lines, and crow’s feet.

Adults 18 years and older are candidates for treatment. There is no right age to start treatment, but Dysport® is considered to be a preventative measure. When you start seeing fine lines on your face, patients should consider this treatment to avoid those lines getting deeper and more prominent.

Patients who are pregnant or breast feeding, suffer from certain neurological diseases, or who are allergic to the ingredients in Dysport® are advised against the treatment.

If you are a new patient at Pearl Medical Aesthetics, expect to be here at least 30 minutes. We will review your medical history, go over the procedure, expectations, take before and after pictures and answer any questions you may have. Follow-up procedures should take approximately 15 minutes and are scheduled two weeks following the treatment.

Although there is no real downtime for our patients, it is recommended to avoid strenuous activity 24 hours following the injection.

Potential side effects for patients include: mild swelling, redness, bruising and tenderness at or around the injection site.

Patients should expect to see results within 2-3 days. It can take up to 2 weeks to see full effects.
